KOCHI: The Coast Guard is continuing the search for four crew members of a tug, Windbo, which collided with a barge off Kozhikode on Thursday. A press release issued by the Coast Guard says that four crew members have reached ashore on board a life raft and three managed to swim ashore. Two ships - ICGS Varuna and INS Sharda - are continuing their search for the crew, apart from a Coast Guard helicopter. A Dornier plane too tried to locate the missing crew and some fishermen reported missing from the coast following inclement weather. The Coast Guard has asked the Fisheries Department to advise fishermen against venturing to the sea. Merchant ships and fishing vessels have been reporting instances of vessels in distress from the sea.
