BHUBANESWAR: A day after the deep depression activated the South West monsoon, widespread rains were witnessed in most parts of the State on Sunday. According to the Flood Control Cell, though rain was not too severe, several places in the coastal districts of the State received rainfall from 2 cm to 4 cm. Monsoon advances
The South West monsoon had further advanced into the State, the local meteorological office said here on Sunday. It said heavy rains were likely to occur at a few places across the State with heavy to very heavy rain falling at isolated places over the next 24 hours.
