KOCHI: Private hospitals in Ernakulam will join hands with the district health authorities in conducting out-patient (OP) services for a week at the primary health centres (PHCs), community health centres (CHC) and Government hospitals at places most affected by viral fever and chikungunya. The services will begin on Monday. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting, chaired by District Collector A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish, on Friday to help the health authorities tide over the crisis due to staff shortage. — Staff Reporter
