‘KSEB pay pact misinterpreted’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Electricity Workers’ Federation has alleged that certain clauses in the pay revision agreement of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) were being misinterpreted by authorities to deny some sections of the employees the full benefit of the pact. The union’s general secretary M. Sukumara Pillai said in a statement that, the way the clauses were being interpreted, KSEB employees in certain sections would lose almost all their benefits if they were to accept promotion. — Special Correspondent
