Call to stop import of low quality products
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Agriculture Minister Mullakara Ratnakaran has stressed the need for finding domestic market for products grown or manufactured in the State. Inaugurating a workshop on ‘Global Market--Challenges and Prospects,’ organised by the P.N. Panicker Foundation and the State Government here on Sunday, he said low quality products made elsewhere had a thriving market in Kerala. Such products should be replaced with domestic products, he added. Special adviser to Export-Import Bank of India, R.M.V. Raman, delivered the keynote address. — Special Correspondent
