COIMBATORE: Highways Minister M.P. Swaminathan reviewed on Monday the construction of a flyover on Sungam Bypass Road. The flyover is being built over the railway line as the gate at the level crossing had held up traffic. The cost of the project is Rs. 15.40 crore. The Minister said that the works were on in full swing and the aim was to open the flyover to traffic in August. The Railways’ share of work was expected to be over by the end of July.
