‘Community certificates will be issued without delay’

NAMAKKAL: The district administration has taken efforts to issue community certificates to the persons living in the villages in Kolli Hills without any delays, District Revenue Officer G. Govindaraj has said.

Participating at the special mass contact programme organised in Paile Nadu village in Kolli Hills here recently, he said that the administration had also directed the officials to expedite the issue of income certificates to the applicants.

The administration was constructing two overhead water tanks in Chemman Kadu and Pukkampatti villages. Another tank was being constructed in Perakarainadu panchayat. These works would be completed shortly, he said.

Later, he distributed welfare assistance worth Rs. 2.10 lakh to 267 beneficiaries selected under various schemes. The assistance included free house site patta, old age pension, marriage assistance and financial assistance under Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Maternity Benefit Scheme.

He also received about 670 petitions seeking assistance under various scheme and basic infrastructure facilities during the programme.
