Mr Venugopala Krishna said efforts were being made to invite Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy as the chief guest for the first year celebrations. He said during the year he was able to improve the performance and financial condition of the Zilla Parishad by enlisting support of all parties and by observing the policy of transparency in administration. He cited as how transfers of staff were affected without giving scope for criticism and by counselling. On mobilisation of additional resources, he said he was able to generate more revenue to the Zilla Parishad through sand auctions.
