Court lets off two
New Delhi: Two persons, charged with possessing copying material during a Staff Selection Commission examination 11 years ago, have been discharged by a court here which noted that they had caused no wrongful loss to anyone.
“There is no valuable security involved in the present case and no person has been cheated or induced by the accused persons to deliver some property or valuable security to them,” Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Bansal said.
The court, in a recent order, absolved Manjit Kumar Verma and Sandeep Kumar of the charges under Section 420 (cheating) of the IPC.
