dated June 27, 1957: Editors’ visit to Japan

Five leading Indian Editors – Mr. K. Srinivasan (THE HINDU), Mr. C.R. Srinivasan (Swadesamitran), Mr. Tushar Kanti Ghosh (Amrita Bazar Patrika), Mr. V. Mukherjee (Jugantar) and Mr. D.R. Mankekar (Times of India) – arrived in Tokyo on June 25 from the United States on a four-day visit to Japan.

The Indian editors are expected to see the working of the Japanese newspaper industry and meet Japanese newspapermen.
