YSR will offer prayers at Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple He will address a public meeting as also party workers separately
KARIMNAGAR: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy would be visiting Karimnagar district on July 5 to participate in various developmental programmes. After landing at Kondagattu temple shrine in the morning, the Chief Minister would offer prayers at the historic Sri Anjaneya Swamy Devasthanams and would lay foundation stone for the construction of kalyanakatta at the shrine. Later, he would leave for Nachupalli village to lay foundation stone for the construction of JNTU college and also address a public meeting. In the afternoon, he would reach Karimnagar town by helicopter and participate in the laying of foundation stone for the construction of Congress party office in Padmanagar opposite to the Karimnagar-Sircilla by-pass road and address party workers. After lunch at R&B guest house, he would hold a review meeting with the district officials at the Collectorate conference hall. In the evening, he would proceed to Husnabad town by helicopter and lay foundation stone for the construction of Gouravelli reservoir to provide protected drinking water to the fluoride-affected villages in the region. He would also address a public meeting in Husnabad town. Minister T. Jeevan Reddy and J. Ratnakara Rao reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit with Collector M. V. Satyanarayana and SP Gangadhar. The District Congress Committee leaders are leaving no stone to make the public meetings a grand success by mobilising huge public. As a prelude to the Chief Minister’s visit, Telangana regional development council chairman Uppunuthala Purushotham Reddy would visit Karimnagar on July 3 to conduct a review meeting with the district officials on the progress of various developmental works in the district. His review would focus mainly on the progress of irrigation projects including SRSP flood flow canal, Yellampalli, Mid Manair Dam and the survey work of the Pranahita-Chevella lift irrigation project. Party sources said that the regional council chairman would also review the progress of Karimnagar-Nizamabad railway line.
