Legal fraternity asked to emulate Justice Choudary

HYDERABAD: Supreme Court Judge Justice S. B. Sinha has said that Apex Court was denied the benefit of contribution of Justice P.A. Choudary, who was one of the pioneers of judicial activism in India.

Speaking after releasing a book ‘Justice P. A. Choudary’s vision and mission – Indian Constitutional Governance’ edited by Prof. B. Errabbi and Prof. Madabhushi Sridhar here on Tuesday, Justice Sinha said everybody cannot visualise the vision with which Justice Choudary considered the socio-economic issues while delivering judgements.

Momentous opinions

He said as the Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court, Justice Choudary had delivered momentous judicial opinions on issues of constitutional importance and significance.

High Court Chief Justice G. S. Singhvi called upon the legal professionals to spare sometime and enrich their knowledge by going through the book and improve the quality of justice delivery.

Compilation

The book is a compilation of some of the important and significant judgments of Justice Choudary for benefit of law students, professors, advocates and judges.

10 chapters

The book is divided into 10 chapters and each chapter covers specific constitutional issues and other related subjects.

Justice Choudary and President of AP High Court Advocate Association D. V. Sitarama Murthy were also present.
