Two more arrested, heroin seized

Belgaum: The sleuths of the Anti-Narcotic Cell arrested two more persons allegedly involved in smuggling heroin on Tuesday. The arrested are Sameer and Kishore from Aronda of Savantwadi district of Maharashtra. Md. Iqbal Abdul Rehman Siddiqui (39) of Ambalgatti in Bailhongal taluk and Basavaraj Chandrashekhar Jagnur (39) of Kakti near Belgaum city were arrested on June 24. Heroin estimated at Rs. 2 crore was seized from the accused. — Staff Corresondent
