TDP stages protests

ANANTAPUR: TDP staged protests in Penukonda and Hindupur in the district on Tuesday demanding proper supply of subsidised seed groundnut to the farmers. Speaking at the protest staged at the RDO’s office at Penukonda, Legislator Paritala Sunita demanded supply of seed to all farmers in required quantity before the right time for sowing lapsed. Farmers led by the party also blocked NH-7 there from 10 am to 3 pm.
