Alleged murder

NEW DELHI: A young man allegedly murdered his stepfather over a property dispute at Kalyanpuri here on Monday.

Forty-five-year-old Puran Chand, a safai karamchari with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, was found dead in his house on Monday night. According to the police, his stepson Deepak murdered him over a property dispute and then hid his body in a room. He then told the family members that he had sprayed insecticide inside the room and cautioned them not to open it for another ten hours. When the room was opened at night, the body of Puran Chand was found stuffed in a sack.Deepak has been absconding since.
