New associate dean for agriculture engg. college

BAPATLA (GUNTUR): The only Agriculture Engineering College in the State situated at Bapatla has got a new head of the institution Associate Dean T.V. Satyanarayana.

Run under the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Mr. Satyanarayana had been working as principal scientist and project manager of Andhra Pradesh Water Management Project at Bapatla since 2003.

He will take over as the fifth associate dean of the college from N.Radha Krishna Murthy retiring on June 30. Earlier, Mr. Satyanarayana had worked as principal scientist of the Indo-Dutch Project on Drainage and Water Management, which had earned name and fame for the NG Ranga Agricultural University internationally.

He joined the ANGRAU as Instructor at this college in 1986.

For his contribution in the field of drainage and water management, the State Government named him ‘Engineer of the Year’ 1998.
