Ara: A Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader was shot dead by unidentified assailants in this headquarter of Bihar’s Bhojpur district on Wednesday. Amarendra Singh, a former spokesman of the party’s district unit, was gunned down by two motorcycle-borne men near the Circuit House while he was talking to a friend. The reason behind the murder is not known. Mr. Singh was the spokesman till a few months ago, when all the district units were dissolved.
