DUTA condemns police brutality

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University Teachers’ Association on Wednesday condemned police brutality on agitating teachers of Madhya Pradesh who were demanding regularisation of service and salary at par with State Government teachers.

DUTA has demanded that the officials responsible for the brutality be brought to book and immediate action be taken against them. It also demanded that contractual appointments in the education sector be stopped.
