Takes over as Coast Guard DIG

G.P. Raj took over as DIG of Coast Guard on Wednesday.

His predecessor D.B. Prasad was transferred to Porbander.

Mr. Raj is from the second batch of the Coast Guard Officers and held important posts, both ashore and afloat, during his 26 years of service.

He previous posting was Commander, district headquarters, Gujarat area.
