Fellowship awarded

Thiruvananthapuram: Sailesh Mohan, senior research fellow and public health researcher at the Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies, the public health studies wing of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, has been awarded the Canada HOPE Fellowship by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). This is a post-doctoral fellowship given to promising young researchers through a global competition. Under the fellowship, Dr. Mohan will undergo four years’ training in cardiovascular diseases epidemiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada. — Staff Reporter
