Pirated CDs seized

The Video Piracy Cell police have seized over 1,500 fake compact discs (CD) of Tamil movie “Sivaji” and arrested two persons. Commissioner of Police Letika Saran had formed special teams to monitor the activities of persons suspected of dealing in fake CDs of new movies. Following a tip-off, a team under Assistant Commissioner Madasamy seized 1,520 fake CDs and recovered blank wrappers of “Sivaji”. Ms Saran said the fake CDs were brought to the city from Puducherry.
