Differences over creating a percolation pond on a porombok land lead to the attack
Krishnagiri: Following the findings of an inquiry conducted by Collector Santhosh Babu the Krishnagiri the police have arrested four caste Hindus of Padiganalam panchayat in Thally block.
They were arrested on charges of assaulting the tribal woman panchayat president of Padiganalam panchayat.
According to sources, Gowrammal president of Padiganalam panchayat was returning along with her husband Sithappa in a bus from Denkanikottai to Padiganalam on May 26 when a group of caste Hindus led by Nanjundappa, Murugan, Neduran and Ikasoodappa allegedly attacked Gowrammal and her husband.
