Bangalore: The reshuffle of top IAS, IFS, IPS and KAS officials may not have come as a surprise to the “babus”. Going by the way some officials tried to complete pending tasks such as organising foundation stone-laying and inaugural ceremonies, it was evident that they knew what was in store for them.

Apparently some of the officials even tried to impress upon their political godfathers why they should be retained in their positions.

While there are those glad to see Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner K. Jariaj go, the Bruhat Bangalore Nagareekara Hitarakshana Vedike has demanded that he be retained at least till the BBMP elections are held.
