GULBARGA: The Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners and Agents Association has given a call for an indefinite strike from July 1 in protest against the decision of the Government to fix speed governors in all commercial vehicles from July 1. In a statement here on Thursday, president of the Gulbarga Lorry Owners Association said that it supported the strike call. Installation of speed governors would hamper regular operation of the vehicles and it would lead to heavy losses, he said. — Special Correspondent
