Dharmapuri
Dharmapuri: The Dharmapuri Fast Track Court on Thursday awarded life imprisonment to two persons for murder. The prosecution case was that Rani (27) of Mekalampatti, near Palacode, along with her brothers Arjunan and Subbu killed her husband Raja on November 17, 2003 following a family dispute. Subsequently they dumped the body on the Dharmapuri-Palacode railway track. Judge Jacob Jayakumar sentenced Rani and Arjunan to life imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs.2,000 each. Subbu was given three-years Rigorous Imprisonment.
