Bidar: Tension prevailed in Gundur village in Basavakalyan taluk on Thursday when some people laid siege to the gram panchayat office in protest against inadequate water supply. In the scuffle that followed between the protesters and the panchayat staff, secretary of the panchayat Shivalingappa was injured. A case has been registered against three persons in the Manthal police station. — Staff Correspondent
