Course in Food Biotechnology

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will offer a one-year post-graduate diploma programme in Food Biotechnology through the Directorate of Open and Distance Learning.

The course is being offered in the ODL mode for the first time by an institution. The curriculum will include molecular biology, food microbiology, food and nutritional chemistry, genetic engineering, food processing, economics of food processing and marketing, with relevant practical classes.

Applications can be obtained by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 300, drawn in favour of “The Director, ODL, TNAU”, payable at Coimbatore. For details call 0422-6611229.
