EdCET ranks released

VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 77.97 per cent of the 1,21,769 candidates who appeared for the Education Common Entrance Test 2007 (EdCET) have passed the examination.

Muthineni Venkateshwarlu of Hyderabad, Kothapalli S.S.R. Sekhar Surya Rao of Kakinada, J. Shabintaj of Chittoor and Domakonda Naveen Kumar of Hyderabad secured first rank respectively in mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences and social studies methodologies.

Andhra University Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of EdCET 2007 L. Venugopal Reddy released the EdCET 2007 ranks on Thursday. The AP State Council of Higher Education would decide the admission schedule. The cut off mark for qualification was fixed at 35 per cent.nt.
