This Day That Age
Eleven players and one official of the 20-man Sudanese football team which arrived in Bombay on June 27 from Aden by an Air India International plane were quarantined by the Santa Cruz airport health authorities. Six of them have immature yellow fever certificates, while the certificates of the other six were valid. The quarantine period of the members of the team vary from two to nine days. Two members will be released on June 29, three on July 2, one on July 4, and six on July 6. The batch consisted of 20 persons – three officials, one journalist and 16 players.
