A sentence in a report “Shekhawat a non-partisan candidate, says Vajpayee” (Internet edition, June 27, 2007) was: “When reminded that the Janata Party Government at the Centre had fallen in 1977 because Mr. Vajpayee and Mr. Advani had refused to give up their RSS membership, she [NDA spokesperson Sushma Swaraj] brushed aside the question.” The Janata Party Government fell in 1979.

The heading of an article (Editorial page, June 23, 2007) was “Why are child malnutrition levels not improving?”, which a number of readers felt was odd. It could have been phrased as “Why are child nutrition levels not improving?”
