Conference on organised retailing

NEW DELHI: As many as 250 CEOs of major retail chains will converge here at a three-day conference beginning Friday to debate over the impact of big retailers on ‘mom-and-pop’ stores. The conference, organised by the India Retail Forum, would focus on issues concerning small retailers, middlemen and vendors who fear losing their businesses in the wake of increasing organised retail activity.
