Hyderabad wins twice

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad recorded two wins on the second day of the seventh Purkinje senior National indoor cricket tournament at ML Jaisimha 365 Cricket Academy here on Thursday.

In the first match, Hyderabad defeated Chhattisgarh by 146 runs and later recorded a 259-run win over Chandigarh.

As per the rules of the event, a team will lose five runs every time it gets bowled out during the 16-over match so in some cases teams ended up with a minus total.

The scores: Hyderabad 132 bt Chhattisgarh -14; Delhi 136 bt Uttaranchal 81; Pondicherry 141 bt Mumbai 23; DMA Meerut 34 bt Rajasthan 33; Uttar Pradesh 74 bt Mumbai 36; Haryana 68 bt Andhra Pradesh -66; Chhattisgarh 52 bt Chandigarh 40; Pondicherry 45 bt MP 6; Hyderabad 147 bt Chandigarh -112. — Principal Correspondent
