Trade shows to promote handicrafts

Thiruvananthapuram: The Government plans to organise shopping festivals and trade shows in the coming months to promote the handicrafts sector, Industries Minister Elamaram Karim has said. He was inaugurating the Centre for Cane and Bamboo set up to promote the use of handicraft items fashioned out of cane and bamboo here on Thursday.— Staff Reporter
