KOCHI: Suspected chikungunya cases were reported from other areas in the district apart from Kothamangalam taluk, which had the highest incidence of the cases here. Of the 35 suspected cases reported on Thursday, 33 were out-patient cases. Two patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals. Five cases was reported from Ramamangalam, four from Pindimana and three from Kottapady, Keerampara, Sreemoolanagaram, Amballoor and Marady. Two cases were reported from Vadakekara, Vaalakam and Edakkattuvayil while one each was reported from Chennamangalam, Paravur, Nellikuzhi, Kuttampuzha and Varapetty. Viral fever cases reported in the district on Thursday stood at 5,711.
