‘Extend property tax deadline too’

NEW DELHI: The Leader of the Opposition in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Jai Kishan Sharma, on Thursday said people were facing difficulties in depositing their property tax online.

He said online taxpayers would not be able to avail of the 15 per cent rebate on property tax because of problems with the website.

This would also result in a loss of revenue for the MCD, he added, demanding extension of the last date for payment of property tax with rebate to August 31.
