Police personnel injured in clash

NAGAPATTINAM: Some policemen, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police and an Inspector, and 10 others were injured in a clash between the police and encroachers at Appurasaputhur village near Porayar in Nagapattinam district on Thursday. The encroachers on a temple land hurled stones at a police team.
