Morgan to take charge next May

LONDON: David Morgan, chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), will become International Cricket Council (ICC) president in 2008, the global governing body announced here on Friday.

Morgan’s appointment was confirmed at a press conference at The Oval following a two-day meeting of the ICC’s executive board in London. — AFP
