BESCOM caution

Bangalore: Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (BESCOM) has cautioned people not to touch snapped electrical lines or try to clear tree branches that had fallen on electrical lines because of heavy rain, without informing the local office. BESCOM has asked people to avoid driving vehicles/bullock carts underneath sagging electrical lines and climbing electric poles. People can call the nearest BESCOM office, the 24-hour helpline Ph: 12660 or 9844244638, 22287118, 22287119, 22356627.
