Rs.25 lakh stolen

NEW DELHI: A bag containing over Rs.25 lakh was stolen from UTI Bank at Krishna Nagar here on Friday.

Ramesh Chander, 53, had gone to the bank to deposit the money when someone made off with the bag, the police said. The money belonged to Yogesh Gupta, a dealer in property and shares. He had handed over the money to his employee Ramesh Chander for depositing it in the bank. The police are questioning Ramesh Chander.
