PUDUCHERRY: AICC secretary P. Sudhakar Reddy has urged Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat to withdraw his nomination for the Presidential election. He also urged the National Democratic Alliance to refrain from supporting Mr. Shekhawat’s candidature and ensure that the UPA’s nominee Pratibha Patil emerged as a unanimous choice for the post.
