NEW DELHI: Viswanathan Anand came up some immaculate defensive manoeuvres and thwarted the aggressive intent of Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and drew in 67 moves in the fifth round of the Sparkassen Chess in Dortmund, on Friday. The results (fifth round): Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Aze, 2.5) drew with Viswanathan Anand (3); Peter Leko (Hun, 2.5) drew with Vladimir Kramnik (Rus, 3.5); Magnus Carlsen (Nor, 2) drew with Boris Gelfand (Isr, 2); Arkadij Naiditsch (Ger, 1.5) drew with Evgeny Alekseev (Rus, 3).
