How to lose weight by changing your mind:Make the decision. The first step to making a successful change is to know exactly what result you want; you have to think about what benefits you are going to get as a result of making this change. The more benefits you can list, the better it is. Take time to sit and think about it; for example, will losing weight help you to have more confidence? Will it help you to feel more energized and healthy? Will you be able to fit back into your old jeans? How will you look on the beach in your swimsuit? The ways to motivate yourself are up to you as an individual, but the more attractive you can make the final expectations, the easier it will be for you to stay charged. Alternatively, you could ask yourself what would happen if you didn’t make the change. Most people continue to put on weight unless they stop and take concrete steps to combat it. Ask yourself how you would feel if you were few kilos heavier than you are now. What clothes size would you take? Would you feel confident enough to wear your shorts? How would you feel mentally and physically? Whatever answer you arrive at, it will be the cost of not making the necessary change in your life. So make your decision now! Be positiveOnce you’ve actually taken the decision to make the change, the next step is to be totally positive that you will succeed and to talk and act as if it is definitely going to happen. This will alert your sub-conscious to the fact that you really mean it. Keep your food interesting and always sit down and take your time when eating your meals. Adopt this motto in life - "If I’m going to eat less then I’m going to eat the best". Buy yourself a funky tracksuit and workout daily for at least 30 minutes. Concentrate on your specific areas with the help of right stretches or massages. And always remember that if your want, you can control your body and mindBeat the habitThe best way to ensure your success is to use every possible opportunity that arises to help you move towards your goal. Constantly ask yourself; is this action moving me forward or is it moving me back? So when you sit in front of the TV instead of taking your walk, you’ll know that you’re pushing yourself back. Similarly, every time you say "no" to that extra helping of cheese you’ll know you’re pushing yourself forward. We as human beings train ourselves into the habits that we have at the moment, so we can just as easily train ourselves into new, more positive habits that will support and motivate us to reach our goalLast but not the least, when you are tempted by that unplanned bar of chocolate, just think about how long the taste will actually last for - A minute? Maybe two? The pleasure of being slim and healthy lasts 24 hours, whole week, 365 days and infact always.
