SRINAGAR: Two unidentified militants were killed in a gunbattle with security forces, in the border district of Kupwara on Saturday. Based on specific information about the presence of the militants, troops of 41 Rashtriya Rifles cordoned off Gurji village near Z-Gali this morning, a Defence spokesperson said. The militants hiding there opened fire on the security forces and were killed when the troops retaliated. -PTI
