IMA to honour senior doctors

KOZHIKODE: The Kozhikode branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) will honour four senior doctors on Doctors Day on Sunday. C. Ashokan Nambiar, cardiologist, P.C. Easaw, specialist in general medicine, and S. Bhadran and P.T. Rajamma, both gynaecologists, would be presented the ‘best doctor’ award at a function at the IMA Hall. The former professors of Government Medical College here are being honoured for their outstanding contribution to the profession and society, said Pradeep Kumar, secretary, IMA. A geriatric speciality medical camp and workshop on basic life support will be organised as part of Doctors Day. — Special Correspondent
