New Passport Officer takes charge

MALAPPURAM: Muraleedharan K., second secretary for community welfare at the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, has taken charge as Passport Officer at the Malappuram Passport Office. He replaces K. Vijayakumar, who has been transferred to Thane. Mr. Muraleedharnan has been serving the Ministry of External Affairs in different capacities since 1978. Apart from his stint in New Delhi, he has worked in Colombo, Tel Aviv and Bern. A native of Ponnani in Malappuram district, Mr. Muraleedharan had worked in Kozhikode as Assistant Passport Officer between 2001 and 2003. — Staff Reporter
