Thrissur: The Guruvayur Devaswom on Friday decided to henceforth hold the annual Chembai Music Festival at the Guruvayur Sreekrishna Temple for 20 days. Earlier, the festival was held for 15 days. The Devaswom said the number of days was being increased to give opportunity to more musicians. The Devaswom denied allegations of corruption levelled by two unions in appointments to temporary posts. It demanded an investigation into the alleged involvement of a recruiting agency in appointments to certain posts. “ — Staff Reporter
