Advisory committee on higher education

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday conceded a demand for constitution of an advisory committee to guide the State Government on affairs relating to higher education. Dr. Reddy himself would be chairman of the panel and Higher Education and Technical Education Ministers co-chairmen.
The Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education would be the secretary, Dr. Reddy told the conference of vice-chancellors here.
He announced the committee with personalities from various spheres of higher education as members.
