HDFC’s “Emerging Kakkanad” gets underway

In a neatly organised function held on Friday evening at the Convention Centre of Hotel Le Meridien in Kochi, the HDFC’s exclusive property show christened “Emerging Kakkanad” was formally inaugurated by Mathew Joseph, Regional Manager (Tamil Nadu & Kerala), HDFC. It’s for the first time in the history of Kochi’s realty business that a property pageant is being organised focusing one particular destination.

Great attention has been given to the design and lay-out of the fully air-conditioned venue spread over 36 stalls wherein apartments and villas of all type from an equal number of professional builders are getting showcased. As many as 100 projects are being put up in the property show which all put together, takes the total saleable number of apartments to 1000. According to the organisers of the event, the very idea of this property show is to make people aware about the various housing options that are available at Kakkanad, the most sought housing hub in Kochi.

The property market in Kakkanad is really looking good and as more and more quality customers are looking at this location has prompted most of the builders to explore the possibility of launching new projects in and around Kakkanad. The property show is also vying for those who are having a penchant for branded housing.

“Besides spot approval of loans, we are also offering a 0.25% waiver on both home loan interest rates and its processing fee”, said a senior official of the HDFC home loans. The show also has other attractions like loan counseling, home loan insurance and a separate wing for pre-owned homes. The property show is open from 10 am to 8 pm and will conclude on today. The entry to “Emerging Kakkanad” is free.
