Treating with compassion

Under the guidance of Dr. N. Subba Rao, Ex. Asst Professor, Cancer Institute, Chennai, Anila Cancer Center was established in the year 2002, and relocated itself to CSI complex, Prakasam road, Vijayawada in 2006. The hospital is equipped with sophisticated equipment for diagnosis and dedicated staff of all classes to treat the patients with compassion and care.

The Hospital had housed reputed specialists of Bone Marrow Transplantation, Hydrous Chemotherapy, Leukemia, Paediatric Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cervix & Ovary cancers, Bone & E.N.T. Cancer and Lung cancer from various places for the benefit of the patients. “A major advantage of chemotherapy is its ability to treat widespread cancer, whereas surgery and radiation therapy are limited to treating cancers that are confined to specific areas. The goal of all chemotherapy drugs is to kill the cancerous cells, while using a dose that causes the least harm the body’s healthy cells,” says Dr. N.
