Corporate Reporter
CHENNAI: Accor Services, a global provider of loyalty and employee benefits solutions, is keen to tap business opportunities. The company has been operating in India since 1997 as Accor Radhakrishna Corporate Services, a joint venture with Radhakrishna Corporate Services. Addressing reporters here on Thursday, Serge Ragozin, Director General and Chief Operating Officer, Accor Services, said the company saw huge potential for innovation and growth in the “fast growing” Indian market. Child care, in particular, was a very important market here apart from the U.K. and the U.S., Mr. Ragozin said. Education was another “key priority” and the company would provide vouchers that would be accepted at book stores, he said. Sandeep Banerjee, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (India), said ‘Ticket Restaurant’ meal vouchers and ‘Ticket Compliments’ gift vouchers were the company’s flagship products in India. ‘Ticket Restaurant Plus’ was a “smart card solution” variant of the meal vouchers, Mr. Banerjee said. The acquisition of Royal Images Direct Marketing Pvt. Ltd., a major player in the rewards and recognition market space, in late 2006 was significant, he said.
